This wine is in memory of Olivia Goldman. ‘Nanna Olive’ spent most of her life giving everything to others and this is a small thank you for everything she has done for us.
The small batch of fruit was sourced from Beechworth Wines Estates. Only two barrels were produced with 50% being new French Oak.
This was the only wine produced by Goldman Wines during the 2016 Vintage

From Beechworth Wine Estates’ vineyard, fermented in two French oak barrels, one new. Bright, light, straw-green, this is a very good example of a Beechworth Chardonnay, which has its own unique character, different to either Margaret River or Yarra Valley.
Indeed, one can argue it has the best characters of those regions, depth from Margaret River, finesse and length from the Yarra Valley. I haven't comparied it to Giaconda, which is in a space of it's own.
