This Semillon was sourced from Berand Estate and was initially intended to be a more drink-now style of Semillon displaying traditional lemon citrus characters. Once we tasted it in bottle, we realised the fruit was there to support the early drinking but the great balance of acid will allow this wine to go on for years!
2018 Honeyeater Semillon
This is one of four wines featured in the Limited Edition “James Giddy Flight Series”. The concept is to create wines that are super fun, delicious and extremely good value and decorate them in an original watercolour, painted by artist James Giddy. The labels are a one-off with new artwork to be developed each year for the series. The aim is for the wines to be enjoyed, the labels to be admired and some put away and collected.
